Surface Action Groups

Makeup and Command Structure

SAGs are a tool at your disposal as a warfare commander or scenario builder. Like Carrier Strike Groups there is no perfect SAG — any asset in the squadron can be assigned as needed. Now that we have disposed of those that were looking for a definition of a SAG, we can get down to business on how we might use them. Perhaps ferry a RECON team, insert a SEAL Team, or extract personnel. The flight decks on these assets are your bridge to survivability and logistics.
